The Mint Marijuana Establishment
Project Details
The proposed design includes a steel portal frame system to optimize load distribution and withstand lateral forces, thereby guaranteeing the overall structural integrity of the building. The building’s foundation is made up of a combination of pad and strip footings that have been carefully designed to meet the requirements of the specific characteristics and conditions of the soil at the project location.
This project seeks to create an advanced commercial structure that not only complies with structural integrity but also reflects modern architectural trends. The combination of a steel portal frame, innovative foundation design, and an eye-catching glass wall aims to establish a harmonious balance between aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
Role
Structural Engineer/Designer
Services Provided
Structural calculations of various loading analyses, including wind, seismic, dead, and live loads. This involves the structural analysis and design of key components, such as roof rafters (including subfloor diaphragm sheathings), shear walls (specifying stud sizes, spacings, wall sheathings, and nailings), load-bearing walls (indicating stud sizes and spacings), beam supports for expansive spaces (utilizing wood or steel beams based on loading requirements), lintel beams and headers to reinforce openings like doors and windows, concrete slab on grade, wall footings supporting shear walls and load-bearing walls, and pad footings sustaining columns carrying beams. In addition to this is a complete structural plans such as foundation plan, floor framing plan, roof framing plan, shear wall layout plans, structural building section view, general structural notes and material specifications.
